Here’s your chance to post comments on where you think the whitest beach in Australia is.
It may well be in the mix for the next challenge to Lucky Bay

Isn’t it time to put out a call for another submission of samples from around Australia, to challenge the myth that Lucky Bay is the whitest beach?
Conjola Beach, south of Lake Conjola entrance, south coast NSW (beach 465 on NSW SLS site) – see photo on web site listed below
I’ll put in on the list for the next challenge!
Lucky bay looks pretty spectacular. Is Lake Mackenzie at Fraser Island a contender. Blows my mind for the first 10 or 15 minutes when I visit how white it is. Probably If someone sent a sample in from the Southern side of the lake where the masses of tourists don’t swim. It would be interesting there’s a lot of different minerals on Fraser Island not sure if its white as lucky bay.
Yes, Lake Mackenzie is spectacularly white, but as it isn’t a marine beach it was disqualified from the whitest beach competition. It was sampled though and is certainly amongst the whitest sands in Australia.
